Hi there! I'm Alexa, the busy but blessed mom behind Blessed in the Busy. I’m a proud mama to three sweet girls: Magnolia (4 years), Laurel (2 years), and our newest little one, Holly (4 months). My husband, Adam, is the rock of our family—he’s a funeral director by day and the choir director and a deacon at our small-town family church, Hebron Baptist. Together, we love serving the Lord and raising our children in the beautiful, rural town of Appomattox, Virginia.
Life in our home is wonderfully chaotic, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Between our dog, our cat, and a flock of chickens, there’s always something going on. I juggle motherhood with my role as the Marketing & Project Management Officer at our community bank, where I get to dive into my passion for leadership and helping others. I’m also deeply involved in our church, particularly with the women’s missions group, where we focus on serving our community and sharing the love of Christ.
Most days are a blur of school preschool drop-offs, work meetings, laundry piles, bedtime stories, and whispered prayers for strength (and patience). Life is full and messy—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Blessed in the Busy was born out of my desire to create a space for women like me—Christian moms who are navigating the whirlwind of motherhood, career, and faith. My heart is to encourage and uplift other moms by sharing realistic tips for balancing it all, while reminding you that even in the busiest seasons, we can always find grace and blessings.
